Taeyong Park Welcome! I am an assistant teaching professor of statistics and data science and associate director of Statistical Consulting Center at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis in 2017. My research interests include quantitative methods (Using Google search data and Twitter data to measure longitudinal public opinion; Developing Bayesian statistical methods for time series modeling and causal inference) and American politics and policy (Local economic voting; public opinion; Electoral context and campaign strategy; Spatial policy dependence). I teach a range of applied statistics and data science courses.
