Taeyong Park Welcome! I am a visiting assistant professor and associate director of Statistical Consulting Center at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis in 2017. My research interests include quantitative methods (Developing or applying Bayesian statistical methods for time series analysis and causal inference) and American political behavior (Local economic voting, Mass shootings and voter turnout, Using Google searches to measure local issue salience). I teach a range of quantitative methodology courses.
