Welcome to my website! I am an Assistant Teaching Professor of Statistics and Data Science at Carnegie Mellon University Qatar. I teach courses in probability theory, business statistics, statistical data science, and statistical graphics and data visualization. My research applies statistical and computational methods to problems of measurement and causal inference in the social sciences, with a particular focus on public opinion, environmental attitudes, and behavioral responses to political and economic issues.
In 2017, I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis, specializing in quantitative methods and computational social science. Since then, I have served as a faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University Qatar.
